donald d. litten (1930-2011)
Practice
Mr. Litten joined George D. Conrad as an associate in 1957 and practiced law for 54 years. His practice concentrated in local government law and civil litigation.
Mr. Litten served the Town of Bridgewater as judge and later town attorney for over 50 years. He also represented Shenandoah County and the Town of Dayton. He was the instigator of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Regional Sewer Authority and served as its counsel for 40 years. He was also chairman of the "Litten Commission" recommending the establishment of CISAT (College of Integrated Science and Technology) at James Madison University.
