Local Government

Local government law is central to what we do here at Litten & Sipe. We study it. We focus on it. Every member of the firm has some responsibility for local government law. Bringing to bear vast experiernce in local government law, we represent numerous governmental entitites, including

• Town of Bridgewater, Virginia
• Town of New Market, Virginia
• Harrisonburg-Rockingham Regional Sewer Authority
• Harrisonburg Electric Commission
• Harrisonburg Redevelopment & Housing Authority

Generally we perform this work for our regular governmental clients. Because of our experience, however, we are often asked to represent citizens opposing the local government. When no conflict of interest would result, we may accept compelling cases against local governments.
